 Briargate The Briargate subdivision which is located in the northern part of the Colorado Springs real estate area came into existence in 1977. The original Briargate area began as a 120-unit subdivision. Today it is a self-sufficient subdivision with exceptional schools, shopping, and numerous recreational activities. The entire Briargate real estate area is a huge master planned community. The community encompasses many parks, open spaces, trails, schools, and recreation opportunities.
