Situated to the northeast of the Briargate real estate area, the subdivision has luxurious homes offered by Saddletree Homes, Vantage Homes, Keller Homes, Symphony Homes, and Campbell Homes. The Cordera real estate area offers amenities such as granite countertops, hardwood floors, walk-out lots, and 5 piece master baths. The Ye Olde Castlewood Park and Happy Meadows Parks in the community feature the art work of local artist, Chris Weed. "Alice in Wonderland" is the theme for the The Ye Olde Castlewood Park. The Grand Lawn Park in Cordera is located next to the Community Center and across from Chinook Trail Elementary School. It is themed after the book, "The Secret Garden." It is a 5+ acre park. The park is the site of Jazz concerts. There were over 550 people that attended the "Jazz in the Park" event in the park on August 13, 2008. Cordera hosted this 2nd annual jazz concert in cooperation with the Imagination Celebration and the Pikes Peak Jazz & Swing Society. The park has a secret garden, a spring garden, a demonstration garden, and plenty of room to play. The Pine Creek Golf Course is located in the Pine Creek subdivision, which is a part of the La Plata Communities along with the Cordera real estate area. The Pine Creek real estate area is next to Cordera on the west side of Powers Boulevard. |
