Accessing Union Boulevard, which borders the Divine Redeemer real estate area to the east, starts your journey north to the United States Air Force Academy real estate area. The commute is an approximate 23 minute or 13.75 mile drive. Traveling on Union Boulevard to the south takes you in the direction of the Fort Carson real estate area. Travel time is an approximate 18 minutes or 10.13 minutes. Accessing Platte Avenue which borders the Divine Redeemer Subdivision to the south takes you to Peterson Air Force Base real estate area in approximately 14 minutes or 6.86 miles. Recreation
Boulder City Park is located in the Divine Redeemer Subdivision. The Park has a basketball court, baseball/softball fields, football/soccer fields, a multi-play court, playground area, picnic shelter, two tennis courts, and trails/sidewalk paths. Boulder Park is 7.2 acres in area and is located next to Memorial Hospital. Boulder Park is handicapped accessible.

To the south of the Divine Redeemer real estate area is Memorial Park. Memorial Community Park has a fitness center that includes an indoor swimming pool and fitness rooms. The indoor pool includes a water slide and water play area. Prospect Lake, located next to the fitness center has a swimming beach, boating area, boat rental, and two fishing areas. The Sertich Ice Center, located in the park, is a public ice skating center. The Velodrome is a bicycle and roller skate racing track. It is also located in the park. The Park also has three baseball/softball fields, 15 football/soccer fields, 12 tennis courts with a tennis center and pinic shelters. Memorial Park is 196.1 acres in area. The Park is handicapped accessible.

Memorial Park also has walking/jogging trails. The Prospect Lake Trail (goes around Prospect Lake)and is 1.25 miles long. There is a Memorial Park perimeter jogging trail that is 2.5 miles in length. The Criterium Bike Loop is 7/10 miles.

The Olympic Training Center (OTC) is located in the Divine Redeemer Subdivision. The Center is the site of many National Governing Bodies for the USOC. Many Olympic athletes and potential Olympic athletes are residents at the Center. Some athletes come for training camps and competitions held at the OTC from all over the world.
