 Old North End Located in the Central Colorado Springs real estate area is the Old North End Subdivision. This section of Colorado Springs real estate was established in 1889-1954. The Colorado College is an esteemed private college and home of the Colorado College Tigers hockey team. The Trail is part of the extensive City of Colorado Springs trail system that extends throughout the Colorado Springs region. The southern portion of the Park has an outdoor pool that is open during the summer months, a baseball/softball field, tennis courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball area, fishing (two ponds), and a small and large group picnic area with shelters. There is also a playground and hiking/biking trails. Situated in the Old North End real estate area is the Roswell City Park. The park has a basketball court, picnic area with shelter, softball field, and a playground. The Park is handicapped accessible. Downtown Colorado Springs is the site of many events throughout the year including: SpringSpree, the Parade of Lights, and many other parades. SpringSpree is an annual summer event and has food, games, and shopping, many of which are local merchants. The downtown real estate area has music festivals, and special events throughout the entire year. |
