 Skyway Located in the western portion of El Paso County, Colorado is the Skyway Subdivision. In the southwest Colorado Springs real estate area, Skyway was established in 1952-1993. The Skyway neighborhood is in the Cheyenne Mountain real estate area and is close to Cheyenne Mountain Canyon. Wildlife is plentiful throughout the subdivision. Bear Creek Cañon is 765.6 acres with picnic areas and mountain bike and hiking trails. The Bear Creek trail is .4 miles long and links the Pikes Peak Greenway to Bear Creek Regional Park. The trail is concrete and asphalt. The Bear Creek Nature center is located on the western portion of Bear Creek Regional Park. There are two miles of nature trails to walk. Skyway City Park is a 6.0 acre undeveloped park north of Skyway Elementary School. The Skyway neighborhood has shopping close by and a swimming pool in the Subdivision. Highway 24 west takes you to the towns of Woodland Park and Cripple Creek. |
