![]() Stratmoor Valley Situated in El Paso County in the southwest portion of the City of Colorado Springs is the Stratmoor Valley Subdivision, within the Fountain Valley real estate area. Interstate 25 borders the Stratmoor Valley real estate area to the west. Recreation The Fountain Creek Trail runs through the Stratmoor Valley community. The Trail goes south to the Fountain Creek Regional Park and north it connects with the Pikes Peak Greenway trail. The Fountain Creek Regional Park is a wetland park that has wildlife observation pavilions to observe the wetland wildlife. Some of the wildlife includes: Turtles, cormorants, and great blue herons. The Park is 2.5 miles in length. Shopping and the Colorado Springs World Arena are close by at the Cheyenne Mountain Shopping Center. The World Arena is less than a 10 minute drive from the Stratmoor Valley Subdivision. It is the site of many hockey games, Disney on Ice events, music concerts, and other special events. |
