Located to the south of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) is the Cragmor Subdivision. The Cragmor community is located in the Northeast Colorado Springs real estate area of El Paso County, Colorado. Most of the homes in this Colorado Springs real estate area were built in the 1950s. The Cragmor real estate area is a highly sought after neighborhood due to its location to UCCS and its quick access to Union Boulevard, Austin Bluffs, and Nevada Avenue. Bus access is easy from this Subdivision.

There are many neighborhoods in the Cragmor Subdivision. The Meadow Ridge neighborhood was established in 1950, Cragmor Heights 1953-1957, Chelton Heights 1955, Huntington Heights 1955-1977, Cragmor Hills 1957, and Templeton Gap 1977-1988. The Elm View Estates Townhomes were established in 1984.

Neighboring Communities
The Venetian Village Subdivision is to the south of Cragmor. The Venetian Village real estate area is also a well established neighborhood. The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) is located to the north of the Cragmor Subdivision and a small residential real estate area that backs to Austin Bluffs Park. Also to the north is the Four Diamonds Sports Complex. The Four Diamond Sports Complex is a City of Colorado Springs sports complex. A business district is located to the west of the Subdivision. The Palmer Regional Park and the Colorado Springs Country Club are situated to the east of the Subdivision.

Commuting
This great commuting location is great for all types of commuting. Whether it's catching a bus or accessing I-25. The USAF Academy real estate area is an approximate 10 minute drive or 5.41 miles. The Peterson Air Force Base real estate area and the Fort Carson real estate area commutes are both about 20 minutes. Cragmor is good location for your Colorado Springs military relocation. Accessing I-25 is an approximate 5 minute drive. There are bus stops along Austin Bluffs Parkway at the UCCS campus.

Recreation
Parks and walking trails surround the Cragmor real estate area. The Four Diamond Sports Complex, located to the north of the Subdivision, has baseball/softball fields, lights, a football/soccer field, and a playground. The park is wheelchair accessible and is 35.0 acres in area.

To the north of the Cragmor real estate area is the Austin Bluffs Trail. This 2.1 mile long trail is a concrete walking/biking trail that runs from Nevada Avenue and Garden of the Gods Road east to the Palmer Regional Park. To the south of the Cragmor community is the Templeton Gap Trail. The Templeton Gap Trail is a 5.1 mile trail that travels from the Gossage Youth Sports Complex east to Palmer Regional Park. The surface is concrete, millings and gravel.

Located in the Cragmor Subdivision is the Danville City Park. The Park is 5.3 acres in area and has a basketball court, baseball/softball field, multi-play court, football/soccer field, a large group picnic area, and a playground. The Portal City Park is a 10.6 acre park that has a baseball/softball field, multi-play court, football/soccer field, picnic area, playground, four tennis courts, trails, sidewalk path, and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. Both parks are handicapped accessible.
