Interstate 25 to the north takes you to Monument, Castle Rock, and Denver. The FREX commuter bus stops at the Woodmen park-n ride which is an approximate 10 minute drive from the Pulpit Rock Subdivision.

Recreation
Close to North Academy Boulevard there are plenty of dining and entertainment opportunities close to the Pulpit Rock real estate area.

Five minutes from the Pulpit Rock Subdivision is the Woodmen Valley Shopping Center. The Center has a King Soopers, Hobby Lobby, Boston Market, Einstein Bagels, T-Mobile, and Blimpies. At the same intersection as the Woodmen Valley Shopping Center is a Home Depot, Sam's Club, Marshall's, Lazy Boy, Jared Galleria of Jewelry, Vitamin Cottage, and Office Depot.

The Chapel Hills Mall is an approximate 8 minute drive from the Pulpit Rock Subdivision. The Mall has a Kmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sears, JC Penney, Dillard's, Burlington Coat Factory, and two Carmike Cimemas in addition to many other stores, 155 stores in all. A food court is in the mall and offers a variety of dining experiences. The Olive Garden restaurant and the Sonic Drive In are adjacent to the Mall.

North Academy Boulevard, which borders the Subdivision to the east, is the site of many restaurants: The Macaroni Grill, Noodles & Company, and Mimi's. The Mission Inn is a locally owned restaurant that has been in business for over 30 years. Academy Boulevard has many dining opportunities.

On Interstate 25 to the north of Colorado Springs is a huge outlet mall. The Outlets at Castle Rock have many brand name stores including: Adidas, Bass Outlet, Calvin Klein, Columbia Sportswear, Fossil, GUESS Factory Store, Levis and Dockers Outlet by MOST, and Oshkosh B'Gosh to name a few of the stores.

Since the sun shines most of the time in Colorado Springs, outdoor activities are plentiful. The Colorado Springs real estate area has an extensive trail system that travels throughout the entire city. You can access trails in just about any part of the city. Colorado Springs also has a large amount of parks. The Erindale Park borders the Pulpit Rock real estate area to the south, in addition to the Pulpit Rock Open Space area.
