 Oak Valley Ranch At the base of the foothills in the northwestern part of the Colorado Springs real estate area is the Oak Valley Ranch Subdivision. The Oak Valley Ranch Subdivision was established in 1980-1993 in the Rockrimmon real estate area. This curb appeal community is a cozy neighborhood with abundant wildlife. Deer, rabbits, and foxes frequent the neighborhood. The Oak Valley Ranch real estate area is a desirable and affordable community near Wilson Ranch public swimming pool, city parks and open spaces.

Mountain Shadows real estate is situated to the south of Oak Valley Ranch. The Flying W Ranch is located in this subdivision. To the south of the Oak Hills Subdivision is the enormous Ute Valley Park. Hiking/biking trails and a wetland area are located in the park. Commuting The United State Air Force Academy is a short distance away from the Oak Valley Ranch neighborhood. It is an approximate 20 minute drive, or an approximate 11.5 miles from this USAF Academy real estate area making the Oak Valley Ranch community a good selection for your Colorado Springs military relocation. Interstate 25 is a short commute from Oak Valley Ranch. Interstate 25 provides easy access to the USAF Academy, the Colorado Springs real estate area, and the Denver and Pueblo areas. The Garden of the Gods Road, which turns into Austin Bluffs Parkway, is a major thoroughfare that provides easy east/west access to the City of Colorado Springs. Recreation The Wilson Ranch outdoor swimming pool is located in the Oak Valley Ranch Subdivision. The pool has a water slide, catch pool, 25 yard lap lanes, a recreation swimming area, underwater and underwater bench with a funbrella in the water. The pool has locker rooms, vending machines and a multipurpose room. There are two city parks within the Oak Valley Ranch community: The Foothills and Oak Valley Ranch. The Foothills Park offers baseball/softball field, basketball court, court, picnic area, picnic shelter, playground area, football/soccer field, multi-play court, volleyball court, and trails/sidewalk path. The park is 7.7 acres in area. The Oak Valley Ranch Park is 4.7 acres in area and offers a basketball court, playground, picnic area, picnic shelter, soccer/t-ball field, and trails and walkways. Both parks are handicapped accessible. The Garden of the Gods is close to the Oak Valley Ranch subdivision. The Garden of the Gods has walking/biking trails, horseback riding, and rock climbing. It is open daily throughout the entire year. To the southwest of the Oak Valley Ranch Subdivision is the historical Old Colorado City. Old Colorado City was a major mining supply location for South Park from 1859-1860. Further west is the historical Manitou Springs real estate area. Manitou Springs is a Victorian/Bohemian mix of styles and is a very artistic and nontraditional community. There are historical hotels and Western style hotels. These two areas provide a unique blend of shopping and restaurants experiences. Shopping is not far away whether you head south or east. |
