In the northwest corner of the Colorado Springs real estate area in El Paso County is the Peregrine Subdivision. Situated in the Rockrimmon real estate area, in the foothills of Blodgett Peak, is a quiet, tranquil neighborhood with many custom homes with panoramic mountain and city views. The community began building in 1987-1989. Several neighborhoods encompass the Peregrine area. The Peregrine North Valley began building in 1988 and The Northlands at Peregrine in 1989. In the 1990s, Table Rock at Peregrine, Cedar Valley at Peregrine, Rockledge at Peregrine, Mahogany Vale at Peregrine, Tuscany Heights at Peregrine, and the Villages at Peregrine were established. The LaBellezza and Alpine Glen neighborhoods began in 2004.

Two city parks are located in the park, and two designated open spaces. Some of the homes back to these open spaces. The Blodgett Peak Open Space is in the subdivision and offers miles of hiking/biking trails. The open space encompasses 165 acres of land. Woodmen Roberts Elementary School is located in the subdivision.

Neighboring Communities
Located to the north of the Peregrine Subdivision is the United States Air Force Academy. Some of the homes in the Peregrine neighborhood back to the open spaces of the United State Air Force Academy real estate area.

The Oak Valley real estate and Oak Hills real estate subdivisions border the Peregrine Subdivision to the south. These subdivisions are also located in the Rockrimmon real estate area.

Commuting
The commute to the United States Air Force Academy is an approximate 20 minutes depending on your location in the subdivision. There are several homes for sale near the Air Force Academy in Peregrine, making it a possible choice for a Colorado Springs military relocation. With quick access to Interstate 25, commuting to Denver or Pueblo is very easy.

Recreation
Situated in the Peregrine Subdivision are the Marshall Sprague Park and the Woodmen Valley Park. The Marshall Sprague city park encompasses 3 acres of land. It offers a playground and playfield area and is handicapped accessible. The Woodmen Valley Park is located east of Woodmen-Roberts Elementary School. It has a baseball/softball field, basketball courts, picnic area, open playfield, playground and lighted tennis courts. It is situated on 5.9 acres of land. The park is also handicapped accessible.

To the east 20 minutes is Academy Boulevard. The Boulevard has a wide range of types of restaurants as well as entertainment. The Chapel Hills Mall is located off of Academy Boulevard.

Leaving Peregrine to the south will take you to the Garden of the Gods scenic area in approximately 15 minutes. This geological wonder has trails for biking/hiking, or walking your dog. Rock climbing is also allowed in the Garden of the Gods.
