![]() Divide The Crystola and Divide communities are located in Teller County, Colorado. These Teller County real estate areas are in the Woodland Park area. The Crystola and Divide communities surround the town of Woodland Park to the west and to the south. The Crystola real estate area was established in the1870s and is 7,979 feet in elevation. The Divide real estate area was also established in the late 1800s. The Divide community is at 9,260 feet above sea level and is located on the north slope of Pikes Peak, west of the Colorado Springs real estate area. The Divide real estate area is composed of a small main center part of town, rural residential homes for sale with land, and ranches on over 100 acres of land.
The Crystola real estate area has mostly ranch style homes for sale. Mueller Park is located approximately 4 miles from Highway 24 in Divide. The Park has 50 miles of trails. Activities in the Park include camping, picnicking, fishing, nature studies, trails, and snowshoeing. The trails vary in difficulty and length. Most of the trails are open to hiking and cycling. There are also trails for horseback riders only. Mueller State Park has 33 trails. The Pike National Forest encompasses approximately 1,110,482 acres. The Forest has many parks and activities in the Colorado region. Areas of interest in the Forest include: The Barr National Recreation Trail, Pikes Peak, Manitou Park, Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area, Gold Camp Road, Windy Ridge Bristlecone Pine Scenic Area, Boreas Pass, Buffalo Peaks Area, and the Guanella Pass Scenic Byway. Activities in these areas range from hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding, and picnicking. The historical mining towns of Cripple Creek and Victor are an estimated 15 miles south of Mueller Park. The Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument has volcanic fossils of plants and insects and is approximately 12 miles west of Mueller State Park. Eleven Mile and Spinney Mountain State Parks are located near Lake George, to the west of Divide. The Eleven Mile Reservoir has some of the best trout fishing in Colorado. |
