Shopping Hot Spots in Colorado Springs
The City of Colorado Springs real estate area has two shopping malls, two shopping corridors, and countless shopping centers. If you have an upcoming Colorado Springs relocation then you should know Colorado Springs is spreading its shopping wings with the addition of two new shopping areas: The Colorado Crossing, an urban town center, and a traditional shopping center called The Marketplace. Both shopping areas are enormous mixed use developments. Colorado Crossing is located in the northern part of Colorado Springs along Highway 83/87 and Interquest Parkway. The Center is in its first phase of development. Colorado Crossing will have residential housing including: Luxury lofts, apartments, condominiums, and townhomes. The Center has a 10 year completion time. It is a retail, residential, and commercial project. Interquest Marketplace is also in the construction phase. The Marketplace is more of a traditional style shopping center that is located along Interquest Parkway and Interstate 25. The development will have stores and restaurants and other types of commercial properties. The Marketplace has an approximate five year project completion time table. It is a regional retail and commercial center.
Northern Colorado Springs The Chapel Hills Mall-Located off of Interstate 25 at Exit 150 in the Briargate real estate area, the Chapel Hills Mall has over 155 stores and a food court. Major stores include:

Location: 750 Citadel Drive East, Colorado Springs, CO 80909 (719) 591-2900. Citadel Crossings Shopping Center-The Citadel Crossings Shopping Center is located east of the Citadel Mall and includes stores such as:
Location: 1229 North Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. Rustic Hills Shopping Center-Major stores at The Rustic Hills Shopping Center have moved to other shopping real estate areas in Colorado Springs. The Sports Authority and Shoe Carnival stores remain as well as some smaller businesses. Location: 3988 Palmer Park Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80909. East The Powers Corridor-Numerous shopping centers encompass the Powers Corridor, a north/south access road, in the eastern real estate area of Colorado Springs. Major stores along the Powers Corridor include:
South The Broadmoor Towne Center (formerly the Southgate Shopping Center)-The Broadmoor Towne Center is located near the Broadmoor real estate area. The Center was originally built in 1959 and early 1970s and was remodeled beginning in 2003. It’s the biggest shopping area in Southern Colorado Springs. Major stores in the Center include:
The Cheyenne Mountain Shopping Center-The Cheyenne Mountain Shopping Center is not a place you can do a lot of shopping. There is a Target store and smaller stores in the Center . Many good restaurants surround the Center. Location: 1670 E. Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80906 (719) 538-8114. Hancock Plaza-The Hancock Plaza is a great place to go grocery shopping with a huge, new King Soopers in the Plaza. There are a few good shopping places at the Plaza, but not any major stores. Location: Academy and Hancock, Colorado Springs, CO 80916. Mission Trace Shopping Center-The Mission Trace Shopping Center has some good smaller businesses but no major stores in the shopping center. Location: Academy and Hancock, Colorado Springs, CO 80916. West Old Colorado City-Old Colorado City is the center of unique shopping stores and items. You’ll find an eclectic mix of stores as you walk up and down one of the oldest areas in Colorado Springs. Stores in the Old Colorado City real estate area include:
